Action of trespass on the case brought, October 4, 1882, by Thomas Fawcett & Sons against the Pittsburg, Cincinnati and St. Louis Railway Company in the circuit court of Brooke county to recover damages for the destruction of the plaintiffs’ coal barge. At the June term, 1883, a trial was had by jury on the general issue, a verdict returned in favor *756of the plaintiffs for one thousand six hundred and eighty-one dollars and seventy-five cents, the motion of the defendant to set aside the verdict overruled and judgment entered for the plaintiffs.
