LEISURE, District Judge.
In what appears to be the opening salvo in the litigation that has begun to unfold from the activities of the Bank of Credit and Commerce International, S.A., Luxembourg (“BCCI”), Robert M. Morgenthau, the District Attorney of New York County (“District Attorney”), and the defendant, Ghaith R. Pharaon (“Pharaon”), both move the Court by Order to Show Cause, seeking, respectively, to stay and to compel depositions of certain non-party witness pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 26(c) and 37(a).
