This was a suit brought by P. M. Hale on the 3d day of June, 1890, before R. L. Mason, a justice for the county of Lewis, against the town of Weston, in which the plaintiff claimed and recovered three hundred dollars damages. The case was removed to the Circuit Court on certiorari, and was again tried in that Court, resulting in a verdict for the plaintiff, and judgment for three hundred dollars.
