Plaintiffs in the above, related cases are insurance companies. Defendants include a commercial farming company, George Perry & Sons, Inc. (Perry); Perry's Vice President of Operations and farm manager, Paul Gomes; and Gary Mattes both individually and doing business as Gary's Apiaries (collectively, Mattes), a beekeeping business.
