Shawn Hougardy (“Hougardy”) appeals from the denial of his Rule 29.15 motion following an evidentiary hearing. Hougar-dy argues that the motion court clearly erred by denying his claim that trial counsel was ineffective by misinforming Houg-ardy that a prior conviction disqualified him for long-term substance abuse treatment.
