Following a guilty verdict by a jury and sentence by the trial court to serve eight years in the Department of Corrections, Leroy W. Myers (“Defendant”) appeals his conviction as a prior and persistent offender of the class C felony of receiving stolen property with a value of $500.00 or more, in violation of section 570.080.1 He claims that the State failed to present any evidence that he “received” any stolen property from anyone.
