¶1 — Calvin Clements’ former girl friend told police he entered her apartment without permission, stole certain items, and struck her. Clements later entered an Alfordl 1 guilty plea to charges of residential burglary and fourth degree assault. Before Clements’ sentencing, the victim contacted defense counsel and gave a videotaped statement retracting some of her allegations. Clements then moved to withdraw his plea on grounds it was without a factual basis. The trial court denied the motion.
