The appellant, Lawrence Purvis, filed his declaration in this case in the circuit court of Moultrie county against the appellee, Irving Shuman, grantee of the reversion in premises leased to the appellant by Sam T. Miller, to recover from the appellee seventy-five per cent of the cost of improvements placed on the leased premises by virtue of a covenant of the lessor contained in the lease. The court sustained a demurrer to the declaration and rendered judgment against the appellant for costs. An appeal was taken to the Appellate Court for the Third District, where the judgment was affirmed…
