Defendant, Daniel Bueno, was charged by indictment with two counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm within 1,000 feet of real property comprising a school (720 ILCS 5/24 — 1.2(a)(1), (b) (West 2002)), two counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm (720 ILCS 5/24 — 1.2(a)(1) (West 2002)), and one count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon (720 ILCS 5/24 — 1.6(a)(1), (a)(3)(A) (West 2002)).
