The trial court set aside the verdict on the ground that there was no testimony from which the jury could reasonably have found that the plaintiff’s injuries were proximately caused by the defendant’s negligence.
The plaintiff was a boy five years old, and his injuries were caused by contact with a moving trolley-car operated by defendant’s servants. The accident occurred at the intersection of Riverside Street and Bank Street in the city of Waterbury.
