Upon July 16, 1877, David White and wife, as party of the first part, of the state of New York, duly executed an instrument of conveyance, wherein they conveyed, as*314signed; and transferred nnto certain persons therein named, trustees of the First Congregational Church and Society of Humboldt, Iowa, and their successors in office, as party of the second part, certain real estate situated in the state of Iowa, also real-estate mortgages and notes thereby secured, and also a certain judgment recorded in the United States circuit court for the district of Iowa—
