This is an action for the partition of certain lands described in the complaint, in which all the appellants claim to be tenants in common, and that the respondents were in possession of certain portions of said lands respectively and claimed some interest therein. The defendants in possession answered the complaint, setting up (1) a general denial of the title alleged in the complaint; (2) that they were the exclusive owners in fee of the several parcels occupied by them; and (3) adverse possession.
