James Scot Thomas appeals from his conviction for indecency with a child. A jury found him guilty and assessed his punishment at eight years in prison and a $2,000.00 fine. Thomas contends the trial court committed reversible error by allow ing inadmissible hearsay from an improper outcry witness and by admitting evidence of an extraneous offense during the punishment phase without determining its relevance.
