This is an action in assumpsit. For a considerable length of time the defendant occupied a store as a tenant from month to month of the plaintiff. In the fall of 1919 the plaintiff, having learned that it was the defendant’s intention to vacate said store as soon as a building which had been purchased by the defendant was ready for occupancy, sought to obtain another tenant for the store.
