Defendants appeal from the affirmance by the Workmen’s Compensation Appeal Board of an award of compensation benefits to plaintiff, widow of decedent Ben Thayer.
Because of the disposition we reach, it is unnecessary to detail the facts established in the trial below. On June 13, 1969, Ben Thayer, a truck tire *214inspector for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, sustained a back injury while on the job.
