RULING ON NEW YORK MEDICAL COLLEGE’S MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT

This is an action for personal injury, filed by a patient sexually abused by a psychiatric resident at Danbury Hospital. The defem dants in this case are New York Medical College (“NYMC”), the institution which supervised the residency, and Dr. Douglas Ingram, a faculty member at NYMC, with whom the abuser underwent personal analysis as a requirement of his training in psychoanalysis.
