This suit was instituted in the chancery court of Harrison county, Mississippi, by the Riviera Hotel Company, a corporation, and C. B. Foster and C. A. D'elacruz, against Mrs. T. K. Devitt and her husband, T. K. Devitt, seeking the cancellation of a certain note for the sum of ten thousand dollars, executed by the said Riviera Hotel Company and indorsed by the said C. B.» Foster, C. A. Delacruz, and T. K. Devitt.
