Personnel Pool of Platte County (“Personnel Pool”) hired Tracey Farmer-Cummings to work at the Future Foam plant. While working in the plant, Ms. Farmer-Cummings developed a severe asthmatic condition that requires continuing medical attention. The Labor and Industrial Relations Commission (“Commission”) awarded Ms. Farmer-Cummings compensation for past medical expenses relating to her asthma. These expenses included amounts that were actually paid by either Medicaid, Ms. Farmer-Cummings or her health insurer or HMO, as well as medical bills considered still…
