Sean P. Keane, M.D., appeals from the trial court judgment denying his motions for an order of mandamus and for summary judgment, and granting summary judgment to the respondents, St. Francis Hospital and its Board of Directors. Dr. Keane claims that his removal as chief of staff at St. Francis Hospital was improper and that the trial court erred in denying his motion for mandamus to gain reinstatement. We agree with Dr. Keane that the St. Francis Hospital Board of Directors improperly exercised its authority when it removed him as chief of staff. We conclude, however, that the trial court…
