NATURE OF CASE
The appellant, Brenda L. Keller, sued Thomas N. Tavarone, M.D., for alleged medical malpractice. The district court dismissed Keller’s petition after determining that Tavarone was an employee of the Cherry County Hospital (the Hospital) and that Keller had not complied with the claim requirements of the Political Subdivisions Tort Claims Act (Tort Claims Act), Neb.
