OPINION
HUGHES, Justice.
Tarrant County Child Welfare Unit (Welfare) filed suit on January 5,1976, to terminate parental rights between Beverly A. Evans (mother) and Jerry A. Stetler (father) and their five minor children and, in the alternative, for managing conservator-ship. An emergency order of trial court appointed Welfare the temporary managing conservator (T/M/C) of all five children and immediate protective custody of same.
