Plaintiff John Reiter brought this action in April 2001 against his employer, the New York City Transit Authority (“NYCTA”); his former supervisor, Mysore L. Nagaraja; and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of the State of New York seeking damages and injunctive relief for allegedly discriminatory and retaliatory conduct that he suffered as an employee of the NYCTA. On July 27, 2001, the NYCTA served Reiter with an Offer of Judgment pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 68 in the amount of $20,001 plus reasonable attorney’s fees and court…
