Appellant was one of a number of defendants who were sued by appellees in the Superior Court of Maricopa County in an action to quiet title. The complaint was filed on July 20,1943. On August 14 of that year appellant, who had been served with a copy of the complaint and summons, appeared and filed a motion to quash the summons on the ground that it was entitled ‘ ‘ In the Superior Court of the State of Arizona, In and For the County of Maricopa,” while it should have been properly entitled “In the Superior Court of Maricopa County, State of Arizona,” the seal with which the summons was…
