This case arises out of three separate thefts of large pieces of construction equipment from job sites in Prince George’s County between May 2, 1969, and September, 1969, and the subsequent recovery of those pieces of equipment in Charles County on July 25, 1970.

William C. Drury, the President of the Del May Company, Inc., a Maryland corporation doing construction work, testified that sometime on or about May 2, 1969, there was missing from a job site in Prince George’s County, an Ingersoll Rand 125 Air Compressor, which Mr. Drury valued at between $2,000 and $2,400.
