On December 26, 1905, Robert C. Brinkley exhibited his bill in the court below to remove from his title to certain lands in St. Francis Eevee District in the state of Arkansas the alleged cloud created by a sale of them made by the St. Francis Levee District on September 1, 1899, by virtue of a decree to enforce the payment of levee assessments that had been theretofore rendered by the chancery court of St. Francis county.
