The purpose of this action was to recover upon a contract of bailment for hire. In the case here presented, there are but two parties, the German-American Bank, a corporation, the plaintiff and appellant, and S. Normile, defendant and respondent. Originally there were other parties defendant, but as these are not before the court no reference will be made to them.
