In two separate lawsuits, a total of ten plaintiffs, all former employees of the City of Cincinnati, alleged that the City and the Board of Trustees of the Cincinnati Retirement System (CRS), by altering the quali- fixations for “disability retirement” for city employees, violated provisions of the federal and state constitutions, as well as Ohio state law.
