The Superintendent of the Potosí Correctional Center, A1 Luebbers, appeals from the district court’s grant of a writ of habeas corpus to petitioner Richard Louis Marcrum. The district court granted the writ on the ground that Marcrum’s Sixth Amendment rights were violated by ineffective assistance of counsel at his trial for murder and armed criminal action in connection with the 1994 killing of Kenneth Reeves.
