Plaintiff John Mottola (plaintiff) appeals from a judgment entered against him and in favor of defendant R. L. Kautz and Company (defendant) following the granting of defendant’s motion for summary judgment. Plaintiff had suffered an industrial injury during the course of his employment by Compton Unified School District (the District). Defendant was an independent claims administrator/adjuster for the District.
