WOLFE, Justice.

Appellant, Joe Somers, was convicted of the crime of arson. He appeals to this court on the ground that there was insufficient corroborative evidence of the testimony of an accomplice to fulfill the requirement of Section 105-32-18, R. S. U. 1933. This section reads:

“A conviction shall not be had on the testimony of an accomplice, unless he is corroborated by other evidence, which in itself and without the aid of the testimony of the accomplice tends to connect the defendant with the commission of the offense; and the corroboration shall not be sufficient, if it merely shows…
