OPINION

WILSON, Justice.

This is an appeal from a summary judgment rendered in favor of the defendant and appellee, Tri-C Resources, Inc. (Tri-C).

Plaintiff arid appellant, Jeral Crowder (Crowder), sued Tri-C on November 3, 1989, alleging that Tri-C: (1) fraudulently induced him to enter into an oil and gas exploration and development agreement (the Cordele Agreement) by falsely promising him an opportunity to participate in any additional acreage or mineral interests it acquired within an “area of mutual interest” (AMI); (2) breached the Cordele Agreement by failing to give him an opportunity…
