It involves the interaction of the Oklahoma Indian Child Welfare Act (Oklahoma Act) 10 0.8.2001 §§ 40-40.9, the federal Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978 (Federal Act), 25 U.S.C. §§ 1901, et seq., and the Oklahoma Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (Interstate Compact Act), 10 0.8.2001 §§ 571-576.
