This action was brought by the territory of Arizona, upon relation of Poster S. Dennis, treasurer and ex officio tax-collector of the territory of Arizona, against the appellant, for the recovery of certain taxes alleged to have been assessed on appellant’s property in the county of Mohave, territory of Arizona, for the years 1902 and. 1903, and alleged to be delinquent, pursuant to the authority given by act of the legislature No. 92, entitled “An act to amend chapter VII of title LXII of the Revised Statutes of Arizona, 1901,” entitled “Collection of Delinquent Taxes,” adopted March 19,…
