Judgment was rendered against the defendants for damages in the sum of $1,000 for wrongfully removing from plaintiff’s mining property, called the Jesus Domingues Mining Tract, in Mariposa County, certain machinery and equipment, which were affixed to the property as provided by section 2601 of the Public Resources Code of California, formerly section 661 of the Civil Code, and used in the operation of the mine.
