|gThe defendant, Albert J. Marrero, Jr.,1 was charged by bill of information with aggravated incest, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:78.1. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty, was tried before a jury, and was found guilty of the responsive offense of attempted aggravated incest, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:27 and LSA-R.S. 14:78.1. The trial court denied the defendant’s motion for new trial and sentenced the defendant to five years imprisonment at hard labor.
