OPINION
SUTTON, Circuit Judge.
For 'one reason or another, Ming Kuo and Julie Yang did not keep up their commercial property in Wyoming, Michigan. Neglect led to disrepair, which led by all appearances to abandonment and the safety risks that go with it. The city tried to contact the couple about the necessary fixes, but to no avail. After the last of the notices, the city leveled the building.
