This case is an appeal by the United States from the judgment of the United States Customs Court, First Division, holding certain alleged chemical and scientific articles to be dutiable at 65 per centum *320ad valorem under paragraph 218 (b) of the Tariff Act of 1930, and thus sustaining the protest of the appellee, importer, directed against the collector’s classification of the merchandise under paragraph 218 (a) of the same act at 85 per centum ad valorem.
