This is an appeal by Joan Fisher, executrix of the will of Matthew Jaeckle, from an award of compensation for land taken by the United States. The land in question is 26 acres in the Town of Nantucket, Massachusetts. On December 1, 1947, the United States filed a petition for condemnation in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts pursuant to 40 U.S.C. § 258a for the purpose of establishing air navigation facilities.
