These are consolidated stockholders’ derivative actions instituted by preferred stockholders of Queens Borough Gas & Electric Company and Nassau & Suffolk Lighting Company on behalf of these corporations. The defendants are Long Island Lighting Company, Nassau & Suffolk Lighting Company, Queens Borough Gas & Electric Company, the directors of all three corporations, E. L. Phillips & Co., and Empire Power Corporation.
