Abert Godown petitions this court to review the order of the Department of Public Welfare (Department) that affirmed a hearing officer’s decision that Godown is ineligible for nursing home benefits because Godown and his wife transferred their residence to their children for a nominal amount approximately fifteen months before Godown applied for medical assistance (MA). The issue before this court is whether the Department erred in concluding that Godown transferred his property in order to qualify for MA. We affirm.
