This is an action on a promissory note brought by appellee against appellant, Grover A. Millett, and the Mercantile Adjustment Bureau. The complaint alleges that the note was executed by said appellant to the said Mercantile Adjustment Bureau, and afterwards transferred by it to appellee for value received, prior to the maturity thereof. The Mercantile Adjustment Bureau did not appear to the action. Appellant Grover A. Millett appeared and filed an answer in two paragraphs, the first of which is a general denial.
