1Opinion of the Court

SMITH, Circuit Judge.

Michael Speakman pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(g)(1). The sole issue on appeal is whether the District Court 2 properly found that Speakman’s prior drug convictions constituted separate and distinct offenses for sentence enhancement purposes under the Armed Career Criminal Act (“ACCA”) 18 U.S.C. § 924(e). We find that the statute was properly applied and affirm the sentence.
