In these two cases, consolidated, the plaintiffs, who were two sons and a daughter of the late Daniel W. Stanley, of Jackson county, sought to set aside deeds executed by him conveying to their stepmother and her son, plaintiffs’ half brother, 285 acres of land, comprising practically all the property of the grantor.

The petition alleged that plaintiff Anna Gray was a daughter of Daniel W. Stanley by his first wife; that plaintiffs Frank Stanley and Daniel Stanley were his sons by a second wife; that defendant Virginia Stanley was his third…
