The defendant is a business corporation, organized under the laws of the state of Missouri, and is engaged in the manufacture of “horse collars” in the city of St. Louis. The plaintiff is a farmer and resides in the county of St. Louis. On the fifteenth day of October, 1885, the parties to this suit entered into the following contract, to-wit: “This agreement made and entered into this fifteenth day of October, A.
