This matter comes before the Court on “Plaintiffs Motion to Remand.” Dkt. # 13. Having reviewed the memoranda and exhibits submitted by the parties, the Court finds as follows.

Mary VanderVelde was a middle school teacher with the Oak Harbor School District (“School District” or “District”) who left work due to progressive liver disease in October 2012 and died in June 2013.
