¶ 1. Mary Anne Hedrich appeals from a circuit court order granting the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin's (Board) motion to *207dismiss her petition for Wis. Stat. ch. 227 (1999-2000)1 review of the denial of her tenure application. Hedrich argues that the circuit court erred when it held that her petition was not filed in a timely manner pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 227.53. We agree. We reverse the order of the circuit court and remand this matter for proceedings consistent with this opinion.
