STROUD, Judge.
Defendant was convicted of first degree murder and appeals. For the following reasons, we find no error.
I. Background
The State’s evidence tended to show that around 5:00 p.m. on 27 December 2009, Ms. Jessie Lynch and her boyfriend, Mr. Tronyale Daniel, were riding in a vehicle in Rocky Mount. Mr. Daniel got out of the vehicle to speak with some people and defendant walked up and shot him. Later, Ms. Lynch identified defendant as the shooter to the police through photographs.
