If the plaintiff had been in possession of facts which reasonably induced the belief in his mind that the trustee, James, and the matron, Mrs. White, were criminally intimate or were guilty of unbecoming conduct, and complaint had been made in the proper manner and to the proper parties, his conduct might be characterized as courageous and commendable.
