This lawsuit arises out of the decision by St. Bede School not to renew the annual employment contract of its principal, Gerald Shook. As one of two plaintiffs, Shook claims age discrimination, defamation, and conspiracies to discriminate and defame, against the following defendants: St. Bede School; the Catholic Archdiocese of Mobile; David J.
