SMITH, Judge.

Edgar Simon (defendant) appeals from judgment entered upon the trial court’s order holding him in indirect criminal contempt of court. We affirm.

The pertinent facts may be summarized as follows: Defendant was previously involved in a civil action designated a special proceeding in Forsyth County, North Carolina, the details of which are not at issue in the present appeal.
